10 “hard truths” that i’ve learnt from working in a mutli-million fast paced industry during the past 2 months.
1: Your welfare is the last priority of the company.
2: Everything at work is unfair, whiners die first.
3: No one gives a shit about what you think or feel.
4: The company exist only to earn money.
5: Be prepared to meet vile and bigoted superiors.
6: There will be politics and you will play it.
7: No one is there to help you, there are no real diplomats.
8: You are by default useless until you prove otherwise.
9: You credits aren’t credited but your faults are.
10: You learn nothing from school.
