personally, quite easily the top 10 best movie ever.
simple, gorgeous and thoughtful long shots plus there’s something innate yet witty about woody allen’s dialogues.
the plot’s only a thin broth, the scenes hardly dramatic, characters can’t be more ordinary but it’s the truthfulness with human convention that shines above all.
pinpointing the insignificant yet common flaws and weakness in our everyday’s life. the way we speak and act, the rash decisions we always make, and finally our tendency to let down and look past damages we have done.
only if you fully comprehend it, it’s a film that should drive you self-critical.
woody allen and his careful observation of life at it’s best. very very real.
though a contrasting different kind from QT, woody allen is no doubt a master of dialogues.
